2nd Sat, boycott Israeli team, other actions you can take for Palesitnian Rights

Despite Israeli promises, Palestinians in Gaza remain under deadly blockade
and siege.  And Israel’s occupation and land theft in the West Bank
continue as does discrimination against Palestinian citizens of Israel.
Here are actions you can take:

● This Saturday, Sept 13, 2014 at 2nd Saturday, downtown:
     - Participate in the March

at 2nd Saturday. Bring signs, red bandannas (to symbolize blood during the
die-in), and your voice.

● On Tuesday, Sept 16, 2014, 4 - 6pm, Demand an End U.S. Aid to Israel on

● Help educate others, bring them to local events like the film: Voices
Across the Divide <http://voicesacrossthedivide.com/documentary> . A
personal journey to understand the Palestinian narrative as well as the
implications and contradictions of deeply held cultural beliefs in the

● Boycott the Oct 18 Sacramento Kings game against Israel’s Maccabi Haifa
basketball team.  Join the protest outside the arena (FMI:
Sacramentobds at gmail.com) or, if you attend, wear a Kaffayeh or t-shirt or
bring a sign in support of Palestinian rights.  Contact Kings’ President

condemning Israel’s recent attacks on Palestinians in Gaza.  Tell him the
Kings should not be supporting Israel’s war crimes by playing this team.

● Contact Obama and Congress and ask them why the U.S. continues to support
a lying Israeli regime. According to Democracy Now and other sources,
Israeli officials have admitted that Hamas leadership had no part in the
kidnapping of the 3 Israeli teens in July, an incident that was used to
attack and kill over 2000 Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. Tell Obama
and Congress they must pressure Israel to end the blockade and siege on Gaza

● Consider not donating to ANY of the Congressional representatives who
represent parts of Sacramento County, Matsui, Bera, Garamendi and letting
them know you aren’t supporting them because they all supported Israel’s
