boycotting & divesting from Israel's occupation & apartheid.  3rd & P
Streets, downtown Sacramento.
Local and statewide activists will address the CalPERS board about divesting
from Veolia, Elbit Systems and Caterpillar - all companies that are
complicit in Israel's brutal occupation of Palestine's West Bank and siege
on Gaza.  Veolia provides infrastructure (transportation, landfill and
sewage treatment) to the illegal settlements.  Elbit Systems is involved
building the apartheid wall and servicing the illegal settlements; it also
manufactures security systems used in prisons and drones to control the
Palestinians, and Caterpillar sells its equipment to contractors in Israel
for the demolition of Palestinian homes and olive orchards and to the
military for use in attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza.
