<p class="">The City of Davis is accepting applications from citizens interested in serving as community representatives on a Broadband Advisory Task Force (BATF). The BATF will consist of ten (10) representatives to include two at-large community members.
Other members will come from local organizations.</p>
<p class="">The City is seeking individuals who have an interest in community service and have some expertise in a related area such as communication technology, utilities, finance, or city infrastructure projects. This is a great opportunity to assist in identifying
options to enhance availability of broadband important to the community.</p>
<p class="">To be considered for appointment as a general community member on the Broadband Advisory Task Force, you must be a City resident and a local internet user. Members may include, but are not limited to, residents, business owners, students located
in County areas receiving any City services through a county service area or other county special district or through direct agreement with the City for utility services.</p>
<p class="">Applications may be picked up at the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall, 23 Russell Boulevard during regular business hours, or<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><a moz-do-not-send="true" href="http://www.cityofdavis.org/city-hall/city-council/commissions-and-committees/apply-to-serve-on-a-city-commission" style="color: rgb(51, 127, 254);" class="">downloaded
from the city’s website</a>. In addition to the application form, committee applicants may be required to participate in a five to ten-minute private interview with a Council Subcommittee and city staff. Applications should be submitted to City Clerk’s Office,
