This could raise the profile of DavisGIG, and its good to have an active 
supporter of the project. Any downsides ? Thoughts from the group?  Yay 
Nay?


We met with Eric a couple of weeks ago, and went over the "plan" and 
desired implementation of the network, and Eric seemed very interested 
in the issue.

Good Morning DCN Board and Davis Gig Activists,

First of all, thank you so much for taking some time to meet and chat a 
few weeks back. It was great to meet a few of you and learn more about 
the vital work you are engaged with on Community Broadband in Davis.

I'm emailing you this morning because the campaign and movement centered 
around my Davis City Council Race for 2018 would like to make a Davis 
Community Broadband initiative one of our top priorities for our 
platform. We will be releasing some key updates via our website and 
social media platforms accordingly over the next few days, and we are 
very interested in more of your input!

We would love to find some time where my campaign manager, my chief 
strategist, and I can sit down and chat with your executive committee to 
discuss next steps. The rest of this year is out of play with the 
Holidays, but we have some great availability the first week of 2018.
