Hi Folks

This is the BEST conference for Community Fiber to the Home deployments 
hands down. I'd like to see if anyone that is seriously committed to 
making our community fiber network happen might go this year, and see if 
DavisGIG could help at all if needed.

Task Force members? Mr Chairman?? or Chief innovation Officer?

I might be down with going and sharing a room to do the fiber 
certification courses if anyone is interested.

This could raise the profile of DavisGIG, and its good to have an active 
supporter of the project. Any downsides ? Thoughts from the group?? Yay

around my Davis City Council Race for 2018 would like to make a Davis 
Community Broadband initiative one of our top priorities for our 
platform. We will be releasing some key updates via our website and 
social media platforms accordingly over the next few days, and we are 
very interested in more of your input!

We would love to find some time where my campaign manager, my chief 
strategist, and I can sit down and chat with your executive committee to 
discuss next steps. The rest of this year is out of play with the 
Holidays, but we have some great availability the first week of 2018.

As long as we make sure that equal access (to our resources) is available
to all the other council candidates, I think it's great.

I think it's good to have council candidates back this initiative. I'd caution against DCN or any other organization however loose backing a particular candidate. If there are candidate forums, it owuld be appropriate for attendees to ask if candidates backed this initiative. And of course, personal support is just fine.

Ditto on that previous idea: I fully support the idea to contact candidates
prior to election day to remind and encourage them all to review the latest
plan iteration. Maybe they'll offer to provide comments - or even outright
support for the overall goal.
