[Davisgig] Grants for Municipal Fiber?

Hi All,

Is anyone familiar with grants for municipal fiber projects?

Although we may not qualify for certain grants depending on the model we
adopt.

"Another wrinkle in the plan appeared when Princeton learned that they
would not qualify for grant money available from the Massachusetts
Broadband Institute (MBI). The organization is handling distribution of
state and federal funds to assist in local deployments. Handing over
control of the network to a private party in such a fashion is against the
criteria established for grant eligibility."
